Il y à un an je prenais le départ de la RORC Transatlantic race à bord de Nomad IV en tant que marin. Bien entendu pour ma première transat je n'allais pas laisser mon boitier photo à terre, surtout sur un bateau comme celui ci ( yacht de 100 pieds en carbone, ndlr) ! Nous avons franchi la ligne en premiere position (des monocoques) et nous avons aussi gagné le classement IRC général, et établis le record de la course en 10 jours et 7 heures !
Cette année c'est le bateau Anglais de Mike Slade, le Maxi Leopard 3 qui passa la ligne d'arrivée en premier devant la Marina de Port Louis en 10 jours et 19 heures (et qui n'a donc pas battu notre record !). Leopard 3 n'a plus qu'à attendre l'arrivée des autres concurrents pour voir si comme nous, il sera vainqueur Overall de cette RORC transatlantic Race, une fois le temps compensé recalculé !

One year ago I took the start of the RORC transatlantic race onboard of NomadIV as sailor, and of course for my first transatlantic I had the good idea to bring my camera. We won the race, we had the honours line (monohulls) and the IRC overall 1st place as well.
This year Mike Slade's British Maxi Leopard 3 crossed the finish line outside Port Louis Marina, Grenada, taking monohull Line Honours in 10 days and 19 hours. Leopard 3 has set the bar and must now wait to see if their corrected time can be beaten.
Last year we set the monohull race record with 10 days and 7h! So we still have it!
