The first race of the boat since the Transat Jacques Vabres was the Rolex Giraglia with the team Made in Midi, then some modifications on the boat, and it was time to go to the Sables d'Olonnes,
Unfortunatelly Kito had to stop this Vendée Globe after a collision with an UFO who broke his keel and open his boat, he had to abandon his boat to the ocean.
